He is the compiler Real Life Permanent Dreams: A Cornucopia Of British Psychedelia 1965-1970 and dozens of other compilations, the author of liner notes of albums by Jeff Beck, Marmalade, The Nice, Colosseum and many more, and the manager of Grapefruit, Cherry Red’s bespoke psych/garage-era imprint.
