Cancer Bats man shaves head for charity

Cancer Bats frontman Liam Cormier has had his head shaved for charity.

The vocalist has asked fans to donate cash in support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation – a California based centre which researches the disease and provides treatment for patients.

His hair was shaved by Dan Brenndorfer at Toronto’s Town Barber. And the band thanked him for “making Liam look so damn handsome.”

Cancer Bats say on Facebook: “Scrappy the skinhead lived up to his word. All those mangy locks got washed and chopped off to donate to kids going through chemotherapy. Big thanks to everyone who donated to the cause. Thanks to @townbarber and @kiwixdan for making Liam look so damn handsome.”

Donations are still being taken on Cormier’s Head Shave For Cancer page.

Cancer Bats will play this year’s Slam Dunk festival in support of fifth album Searching For Zero which was released in 2015.
