A tribute to David Bowie will take centre stage at this year’s Glastonbury festival.
The Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm will be decorated with a giant lightning bolt, inspired by his 1973 album Aladdin Sane. And the Park Stage will host a performance of Philip Glass’s Symphony No.4, based on Bowie’s Heroes album.
Muse are among the headliners for this year’s event – alongside Coldplay and Adele. Bowie died in January at the age of 69. He headlined Glastonbury in 2000.
Glasto organiser Emily Eavis also tells the BBC they are working on a Prince tribute and reports they came close to signing him as a headliner for the last three years.
Prince died last month at the age of 57.
Glastonbury festival takes place from June 22 to 26.
