Rock Through The Ages, an exhibition by famed rock photographer Denis O’Regan, has opened at Kings Cross station in London and Lime Street in Liverpool. The exhibition is open for a month, and features photos of Queen, David Bowie, the Rolling Stones, Oasis, and many more.
“I have photographed great musicians and travelled to extraordinary places to capture classic moments in music,” says O’Regan, who was the official photographer at Live Aid and has toured with KISS, Thin Lizzy and Pink Floyd. ”Railway stations are a great way of connecting people with art in their everyday lives and it is fantastic to be able to share my photos with rail passengers and station users around the country.”
Also on show at Kings Cross (for one week only) is Gibson’s Throne of Guitars (shown below with the station’s resident Hawk, Aria). The structure is made from 100 original Gibson and Epiphone guitars and is seldom on public display.
