Squeeze have made a video for their new single ‘Nirvana’ – and you can watch it now on TeamRock.
The song is taken from the band’s fourteenth studio album, Cradle To The Grave.
Says Chris Difford: ”The song was originally inspired by David Hockney’s painting My Parents – it’s about parents finding themselves empty of life after their children have left home and they have nothing more in common. Getting dressed as a woman didn’t come easy for me, but I took one for the team.”
The band will also reissue their 1978 single Goodbye Girl on coloured vinyl as part of Record Store Day on April 16. For all upcoming live activity, visit the band’s official website.
