Under A Banner sign with Bad Elephant Music

Under A Banner

Under A Banner have signed a deal with Bad Elephant Music.

The Wolverhampton-based outfit released their debut album The Ragged Rhythm Of Rain in 2012 and are currently in the studio working on their as-yet-untitled third album.

Frontman Adam Broadhurst says: “We’re unreservedly thrilled to have signed to BEM. The band truly feels that now is the time to build on our independent successes and bring our music, both live and recorded, to a much wider audience. We look forward to working with BEM to achieve this aim.”

Bad Elephant Music CEO David Elliott adds: “It’s not easy to make music that draws equally on Tool and New Model Army and still sounds coherent, but Under A Banner manage it – and it’s a rare gem.

“I’m looking forward to seeing what direction they take with future releases – and I know it’ll be worth the wait.”

Under A Banner have two UK shows scheduled for next month. They’ll play Manchester’s Anime Con on April 2 and Wolverhampton’s The Slade Rooms on April 29.
