Watch Metallica perform Motorbreath in Philadelphia

Metallica have released a live video showcasing their classic song Motorbreath.

It was filmed at the band’s May 12 show at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field and shows James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo rip through the track, which originally appeared on their 1983 debut album Kill ‘Em All.

Earlier this week, drummer Ulrich surprised fans on their way to the show in the city when he rolled down his car window and asked them: “Who’s playing tonight?”

Metallica have just kicked off the North American leg of their WorldWired tour in support of 10th studio album Hardwired… To Self-Destruct. They’ll then head to Europe in September and have dates planned deep into 2018.
