Metallica have released a live video showcasing their 1988 track Harvester Of Sorrow.

The performance was captured during James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo’s set at the Festival d’ete de Quebec on July 14 – and shows them tear through the classic …And Justice For All track.

The band are currently taking a short break from their North American tour but will resume live duties on July 29 when they’ll play a set at the Rose Bowl, Los Angeles.

Earlier this week, vocalist and guitarist Hetfield revealed he had no desire to write solo material or work on a side-project as he was free to express himself within the confines of Metallica.

He said: “Metallica’s pretty much my side project. I get to do whatever I want in Metallica – there’s not really a need for it.

“I write things that make me feel good and if they end up in Metallica, then that’s even better. Sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they’re like a Nothing Else Matters kind of thing. But, no, there’s really no need for that. Or time – there’s no time for that either.”
