Once an indie star with The Pipettes, Gwenno Saunders has returned to her home town of Cardiff and gotten serious.

She may be bemoaning the dominance of technology, but it’s her able ally here. The singer, who not so long ago had a hit with the jaunty Pull Shapes has wrought beguiling new ones.
