British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Steve Newman has been crafting high-quality melodic hard rock for two decades. Aerial, his eleventh release, is a delightful record, its standouts including Can’t Stop Loving You and the pomp-tastic Don’t Wake The Lion. Overall it supports the view that both Newman and his catalogue should be far better known than they are.
